| 11/15/2008 | Concert for Critters Two of Pennsylvania’s favorite local singer songwriters – Jim Boggia from Philadelphia and Bill Deasy from Pittsburgh – will lend their talents to the Delaware County SPCA’s second annual Concert for Critters. The event will be held on Saturday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Media Theatre. Tickets are $20 each and are available at the theatre box office, 104 E. State Street in Media; by phone at (610) 891-0100, or on the theatre’s website, mediatheatre.org. Jim Boggia is a favorite of Philly audiences and radio station WXPN. With three albums out, he has gained impressive career momentum in a short amount of time. Blackberry selected one of his tracks for a new ad campaign and his songs have also been featured on MTV’s Real World and ABC-TV’s Men In Trees. He’s developed a loyal grass-roots fan base for his dynamic, improvisational live shows. Bill Deasy plays to sell out crowds in his native Pittsburgh, and has a growing following in the Philadelphia region. Deasy has that rare ability to really touch people through his songwriting, using his life experience to create songs that people can relate to. His song “Good Things Are Happening” was used in a commercial for ABC’s Good Morning America – the campaign was intended to last only 10 weeks but it became so successful that it remained on the air for 3˝ years. |

Wags n Whiskers Fashion Show
| April 26, 2008 Thank you for supporting our 52nd Annual Fashion Show, it was a big success! Because of your support we raised close to $20,000.00 to be used for the Second Chance Fund. This fund is used to give emergency Veterinary Care to the many injured and sick animals that come to us each day. Thank you for your support! Concert for Critters 2007

Proceeds form this event was used for the care and welfare of the many animals that come through our door each day. Over 800 to 900 animals come through each month. Date to be announced for 2008. |
