Volunteering

Jamie Neborak

Volunteers are an integral part of fulfilling our lifesaving mission.

Jamie Neborak,
Director of Training and
Education

Volunteers are an essential part of the Delco SPCA's lifesaving mission. Without them, we would not have been able to save 3,139 animals in 2012 and strive to save 3,300 animals in 2013! We offer many volunteer opportunities in and outside of the Adoption Center. Volunteers must be 18 years old. We are willing to accept 16-year-old's with a parent's consent. We get a lot of wonderful people wanting to help, so please be patient and know that we're trying to find the best-suited people for our program. *There are limited openings in certain areas of our volunteer program, so we will be utilizing an interview process to fill the available positons. We will call you to arrange for a phone or in-person interview.

*Our Volunteer Program is currently in transition. We will not be accepting new applications until September so please check back here at that time!

Outreach
By becoming part of our outreach team, you will help take animals off-site to get exposure and to get the mission of the Delco SPCA to the public. We have weekday, Saturday and Sunday outreach events and are always looking for people to help! For more information about outreach events, email jneborak@delcospca.org.

The more outreach we can do,
the more animals we will save!
